Missions

Matthew 28:18-21
Jesus said, “ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

As God’s children we are all called to the Great Commission Jesus gave us in Matthew 28:18-21. Where ever God has planted us, together as the family of God it is our corporate mission to spread the good news of Jesus Christ within our own community and to all the world. Some are called to leave their homeland and family and go to other nations.

PHCC has been blessed to partner in a small way with the following missionaries and the ministries God has called them to in other nations. To read more about these dedicated servants of God, check out Ray Phillps encouraging book, Tracing the Fingerprint of God.

A & R

Location: Asia

Ministry Focus: Our hearts have always been for Asia, especially for those who do not have the same access to the gospel that we have in the West. Our ministry will focus on developing and discipling Christian leaders and bringing the love of God to the unreached and vulnerable.

R is passionate about seeing the practical and spiritual needs of the lost met. She will be looking to partner with PAOC organizations throughout Asia to help them reach and minister to those in need. A’s heart lies in leadership and organizational development. He will be looking to develop and disciple church and lay leaders to bring the Gospel to their spheres of influence. He believes that when leaders are empowered in their giftings and call, God works mightily, and we then see great and lasting change.

Kevin & Julia Garratt

Founders of Nation to Nation

The Garratts’ education, training and community development work in China ended in 2014 with abduction and false imprisonment. Pawns in a Canada/China geopolitical dispute, the 775-day ordeal as hostages and Chinese prison is recounted in their captivating story of resilience and hope called Two Tears on the Window.

Kevin and Julia now oversee Nation to Nation. Their multi-nation team focuses on conflict-distressed communities coping with the challenges of displacement and poverty in Myanmar and along the Thai/Myanmar border. Offering a powerful Christian hope message, they live alongside host communities assisting with crisis aid, Youth Vision and educational leadership training, and offer replicable sustainable development and livelihood solutions designed for long-term impact.
