Becoming Fruit Bearers
John 10: 15
"I am the vine, you are the branches;
he who abides in me and I in him,
he bears much fruit, for apart from me
you can do nothing”
2 Corinthians 5: 17, 18, 20
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ
and gave us the ministry of reconciliation...
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors,
as though God were making his appeal through us.
John 15: 8
“This is to my Father’s glory,
that you bear much fruit,
showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
God’s family of believers, has received the message and ministry of reconciliation; that we have all been reconciled to God through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
In Christ our spiritual relationship with God and one another is restored and as we abide together in Him we grow and bear fruit for the Father’s glory.
The specific ministry God has prepared each of us for is reflected in the unique gifts He has placed in each of us.
At PHCC it is our desire to see each one have the opportunity to discover and flourish in the giftings and ministry God has called them to, so that together in Christ we may bear an abundance of good fruit for His kingdom.
