About Us
Our Church Family
I John 3:1
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called the children of God!
Pender Harbour Community Church is a part of God’s growing family in Pender Harbour.
We are a church family with diverse backgrounds who desire to share God’s love with everyone through the gifts He has placed in each of us.
We are passionate about helping others come to know how much God loves them and to find the daily joy, purpose and peace that comes from following Jesus and being part of the family of God.
Our Mission
Loving God – Loving Others – Growing in Grace
As God’s children and members of His family, it is our mission to grow together in loving God and loving others, through the power of Christ’s grace that is at work in us; as together we grow in loving relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and one another in accordance with this prayer for our oneness and unity that Jesus prayed to His Father:
John 17: 22 – 23
“I have given them the glory that you gave me,
that they may be one as We are one:
I in them and you in me.
May they be brought to complete unity
to let the world know that You sent me
and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
Loving God
Matthew 22: 37 – 38
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Loving Others
John 13:34-35
“A new commandment I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know you are my disciples,
if you love one another.”
Growing in Grace
Ephesians 2: 8 – 10
For by grace you have been saved through faith.
And this is not your own: it is the gift of God,
not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
